Lunenburg...It's Official!

Well its all very official. I now live in the picturesque sea-side village of Lunenburg, Nova Scotia. It's a long way from the construction cones, unbearable heat, and conflicted political scene of Montreal. Needless to say I am enjoying the beach, the clam chowder, and the friendliness of Lunenburgns.

It was sunny and warm in July and August. The temperature hovered in the 24 degree range during the day with cool nights. It was fresh and breezy: no complaints here. The wind has picked up and it has turned decidedly cooler. Fall is approaching.

The seaside abode I rented for my first ten months, right along the bay facing the town, is totally sufficient for my needs. I'm close to the shops, walking distance from the library, and the harbor still thrills me like it did the first time I saw it.
